If you own a Toyota included in the recent recall and have an accident, or if you are involved in an accident with a recalled vehicle, Erie Insurance wants you to know that the Toyota recall will not have an effect on whether there is coverage available to you for the loss.  Erie will provide coverage for your loss, subject to applicable policy terms, conditions and deductible. 

Erie will not pay for parts/labor to fix the manufacturer defect.
